Teltonika FMC920 is probably the best-selling tracker in the entry-level segment. It's small, affordable, and does the basics. But is it really the best option available?

Rinho Zero IoT competes in the same price segment but with features you won't find in any other budget tracker on the market. Let's look at the real differences.

The only budget tracker with WiFi

Rinho Zero is the only tracker in its price segment with integrated WiFi. Neither the FMC920, nor the Queclink GV50, nor any other "basic" tracker offers this feature.

Why does WiFi matter in a budget tracker?

Urban delivery: Your vehicles spend hours in the depot every night. With WiFi, they can download accumulated data and do firmware updates without consuming mobile data (though FOTA also works over cellular if you prefer).

No coverage areas: If you operate in rural areas where you installed a Starlink router at the base, vehicles can report when they arrive even if they had no cellular signal on the way.

Integrated captive portal: The Zero can serve a configurable web page that allows drivers to perform actions (check-in, delivery confirmation, emergency button) directly connected to the 196 rules engine.


BLE Ecosystem: The only budget tracker with wireless sensors

Zero IoT is the only tracker in its price segment with factory-integrated BLE. Neither the FMC920, nor the Queclink GV50, nor any other "basic" tracker includes this capability.

This allows connecting 4 fixed wireless sensors with detailed data, plus a BSW wildcard system that expands monitoring to many more sensors through grouping. Without additional wiring:

In FMC920: Not possible. "Excessive Idling" detects stops but cannot be combined with geofences or schedules.
