Gradual Engine Cut
Controlled and safe vehicle immobilization
System that progressively reduces engine power through increasing pulses to the cut relay. No sudden shutdown, no mechanical risks, fully configurable and reversible.
Cut Sequence
Progressive power loss
How does it work?
Once activated (SGCA), the device sends pulses to the relay every interval seconds. Each pulse is longer than the previous one (according to step), generating intermittent cuts that increasingly affect combustion.
Safe Stopping
Progressively reduces power without causing sudden braking or alerting the driver.
Fully Configurable
Adjust time, pulses, and cut speed according to each vehicle type.
Reversible Process
You can stop or restart the sequence at any time with a command.
Real-Time Monitoring
Query current status: progress, remaining time, and pulse width.
Cut Sequence (30ms/4s/180s)
Typical cut evolution with default parameters. Power is reduced linearly and predictably.
| Time | Cut Cycle | Engine Power | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0s | 0.75% | 99% | No noticeable changes |
| 30s | 5.6% | 94% | Slight power loss |
| 60s | 11.3% | 89% | Significant reduction |
| 90s | 16.9% | 83% | Difficulty on hills |
| 120s | 22.5% | 78% | Very irregular engine |
| 150s | 28.1% | 72% | Unstable idle only |
| 180s | 100% | 0% | ENGINE STOPPED |
Everything included in the module
Progressive Pulses
Each pulse is longer than the previous one, generating gradual and predictable power loss.
Cycle Control
From 0% to 100% cut cycle in configured time (default: 3 minutes).
Simple Commands
Enable, Activate, Stop, Disable, Reset. All controllable via SMS or TCP.
Queryable Status
QGC returns status, elapsed time, remaining time, progress, and current pulse.
3 Relays Available
Choose which output to use for cut (0, 1, or 2) according to your installation.
No Mechanical Damage
Soft cut that doesn't cause problems in transmission, clutch, or engine.
Full control via SMS or TCP
Syntax: SGC[comando][,xp,step,interval,max]
SGCEEnable
Enables the system with current parameters. Stays in "ready" state.
SGCAActivate
Starts the gradual cut sequence. The engine will begin to lose power.
SGCSStop
Stops the cut sequence. The engine recovers normal power.
SGCDDisable
Completely disables the system.
SGCRReset
Resets the sequence to zero without changing configuration.
QGCQuery
Queries the current system status and all its parameters.
Flexible configuration
All parameters are optional. If not specified, default values or previously configured ones are used.
xpCut relay to use
stepCut increment per pulse (ms)
intervalInterval between pulses (seconds)
maxTime until total cut (seconds)

Vehicle Recovery
Safely stop stolen vehicles without dangerous pursuits.
Transport Fleets
Controlled immobilization for non-compliance or emergencies.
Leasing & Finance
Asset recovery for delinquency, with gradual and safe cut.
Safety Notes
- Preferably activate with vehicle at low speed.
- System automatically stops when device restarts.
- The 'R' command resets the sequence without changing configuration.
Available on all devices
Gradual Cut is integrated in the standard firmware of all our devices.
